Alex Busse is a digital artist and AI design specialist based in Coogee, on Sydney's eastern beaches. He works at the seam between generative models and traditional craft — using AI to reach the ugly first draft faster, then bringing taste, composition, and a real editor to turn a render into something worth shipping.
His practice spans generative pieces, AI-assisted illustration and product work, and hybrid images that start in a model and end under a brush. The method — not the magic — is the point, which is why he wrote it all down in The AI Digital Assets Handbook.
"The model gets you to the draft. Everything that makes it yours happens after."
