Control before adjectives

When a generation isn't landing, the instinct is to add words. More adjectives, more style tags, more emphasis. It rarely helps, because most of what's wrong is structural, and structure isn't something the prompt is good at holding.

Reach for control instead. A depth or edge ControlNet pass locks the composition so the model stops reinventing the frame every seed. A reference image via IP-Adapter carries identity or style far more reliably than a paragraph describing it.

Get the bones right with control, then use language for the things language is actually good at — mood, material, light. In that order, the prompt gets shorter and the results get better.
